Corn Maze

Kregel’s Pumpkin Patch pays tribute to a local legend “the Belanger Special” winner of the 1951 Indianapolis 500. The Belanger Special was owned by local business man Murrell Belanger. Belanger owned the Chrysler dealership in Crown Point and John Deere Dealerships in Lowell and Crown Point, Ind. The Number 99 Belanger Special was housed and maintained at the John Deere dealership in Lowell Indiana (which now houses Superior furniture) The Belanger Special was the first car to complete the race in less than 4 hours. It was also the first car to weigh less than 2000 pounds and to use Magnesium wheels, torsion bars, disc brakes and a tube frame. Come celebrate this local historic automobile as you navigate through our maze in Number 99’s image. This is included in the admission fee.

We sell general admission wristbands for the barnyard activities Monday-Friday from 11am-5pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, and Sunday 12pm-5pm.
